Is it waterproof?

The Diluvium® Flood Barrier is very waterproof. Each unit is made from PVC coated Polyester and connected with two zippers. The water facing zipper has very high air and water tightness properties under pressure.

How easy is it to set up?

Diluvium® is a patented solution that is designed to be both very strong but also very easy to deploy. The most common section (4ft/1.2m height x 10ft/3m long) weighs c.66lbs/ 30kg and can be set up by one person once in place.

Will Diluvium® fall down/ move after set up?

Diluvium® has several anchoring points on both sides so can safely secured before full deployment. To fully set up the barrier the support bar needs to be set in place. Glass fiber bars inside the barrier provide additional structural support.

Are other colours available?

No. At this stage we are manufacturing Diluvium® in red

How long does it last?

Diluvium® is designed and manufactured to withstand the harsh effects of floodwater and can be used multiple times. The supporting components are glass fiber or stainless steel. Diluvium® should always be inspected before and after each use.

How to store it?

Diluvium® is easy to store due to its light weight and low footprint. When not in use Diluvium® should be stored in the bags supplied and in a cool, dry place. Diluvium® should be cleaned and then dried before storing.
