Invention

Helge Krøgenes invented the Diluvium® Flood Barrier after three years of research and received a worldwide patent for it in 2018.

He has worked directly with organizations including FM Global / FM Approvals, the Association of State Floodplain Managers (both the national and state level), the US Army Corps of Engineers, THW Federal Agency for Technical Relief in Germany, The Environment Agency in UK, The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) and local municipalities both when flood events occur and for flood relief planning.

Helge joined the flood mitigation industry in 2003, initially as a business developer but then subsequently as Chairman and then President of AquaFence AS and AquaFence Inc.
